Subsea Equipment That Helps in Petrobras Oil Extraction Would Not Be Installed So Efficiently Without These Devices
In the technological oil industry, ROVs are considered the eyes of operators underwater and are of essential importance during the installation of devices such as: the BOP (Blowout Preventer), suction anchors, and Christmas Trees.
Sistac owns one of the most modern fleets of ROVs in the country, so read a little about both. See here, Government Prepares Oil Auction in the Blue Amazon!
The SISTAC Access Systems is a leader in the inspection, maintenance, and repair offshore segment in the oil and gas industry in Brazil, through access with Support Vessels, Divers, Climbers, Riggers, and ROVs.
Let’s get to know a little more about ROVs, which are safer and more technologically advanced systems used to carry out and supervise the assembly of oil exploration and production equipment at great depths.

ROV (Acronym in English for Remotely Operated Vehicle)
This is an alternative to diving for visual and electrochemical potential inspections at depth. ROVs are portable camera systems mounted on a compact underwater vehicle, whose movements are remotely controlled by an operator on the surface via an umbilical cable.
With a growing fleet of working class and inspection class ROVs, SISTAC offers economical, agile, and versatile options for underwater services.
The ROV allows for more cost savings and agility in diving operations, as services are executed more quickly, without the need to mobilize a large team and various equipment. (See the video at the end of the article).
Services Provided by Sistac: Diving support for underwater inspections; Monitoring of underwater operations; Surveys of physical arrangements, seabed, structures, and activities; Support for installation and drilling; Support for underwater construction; Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair.
