The Federal Institute of Brasília announced the announcement of the Structural Campus which brought the opening of enrollment for free language courses with Placement Test. The proposal of IFB is to promote training in English, Spanish, and LIBRAS courses for candidates who have the desire to learn more and more. Among the courses are:
Basic Spanish – Module 2
- Workload: 200 hours;
- Shift: Afternoon;
- Slots: 15;
- Required Knowledge: Basic Spanish Level 1 proven by placement test;
- Minimum Education Required: Completed elementary school;
- Minimum Age Required: 16 years old.
Basic English – Module 2
- Workload: 210 hours;
- Shift: Afternoon;
- Slots: 15;
- Required Knowledge: Basic English Level 1 proven by placement test;
- Minimum Education Required: Incomplete/ongoing high school;
- Minimum Age Required: 14 years old.
LIBRAS – Intermediate Module
- Workload: 210 hours;
- Shift: Afternoon;
- Slots: 30;
- Required Knowledge: Basic LIBRAS level proven by placement test;
- Minimum Education Required: Completed elementary school;
- Minimum Age Required: 16 years old.
Intermediate Spanish – Module 2
- Workload: 200 hours;
- Shift: Afternoon;
- Slots: 15;
- Required Knowledge: Basic Spanish level proven by placement test;
- Minimum Education Required: Completed elementary school;
- Minimum Age Required: 16 years old.
Basic English – Module 3
- Workload: 210 hours;
- Shift: Afternoon;
- Slots: 20;
- Required Knowledge: Basic English levels 1 and 2 proven by placement test;
- Minimum Education Required: Incomplete/ongoing high school;
- Minimum Age Required: 14 years old.
Learn How to Enroll in the Free Language Courses Offered by the Federal Institute
Enrollment for the English, Spanish, and LIBRAS courses must be completed through the Form Provided in the Announcement, by September 11, 2024. The Structural Campus will also provide a computer that will be available at the Academic Registration office, to facilitate the process for those who cannot enroll remotely.

More than 200 free and fully online courses with certificates are open for registration for people from all over Brazil, in areas such as technology, programming, management, and languages, and can be secured without fees, without a selection process, and only with a CPF and email until the end of June.

Take a free technical course and earn R$ 300 per month: there are 60 open slots in free technical courses to study Electrotechnics or Production Planning and Control (PPC) with support from SENAI-MS and the Bataguassu City Hall.

State government forms an unprecedented partnership with Senai and will open 100 classes of free technical courses for high school students in Alagoas.
The classification of candidates in the free language courses will be based on the score from the Placement Test, composed of the Written Test (TE) and the Oral Test (TO), varying from 0 to 100 points. To pass, it is necessary to obtain at least 50 points on each stage, and the final score will be the average of the two.
Candidates with a final score of 50 or higher will be classified in descending order for enrollment, respecting the limit of available slots, while those with a score lower than 50 will be eliminated from the selection process.
Results for the Selection Process of the English, Spanish, and LIBRAS Courses
The final result of this selection process is expected to be announced on September 23, 2024, on the Campus website, in descending order of candidate scores.
