Jobs on the Horizon, Be Aware That Inpasa’s Forecast Is That the Plant to Be Installed in Sidrolândia – MS Will Start Operating in the Second Half of 2024
The Inpasa Group, a renowned company in the renewable energy sector, has just announced a colossal investment of R$ 1.2 billion in the construction of a new corn ethanol plant in Mato Grosso do Sul. This exciting news not only reinforces the company’s commitment to clean energy production but also promises to transform the region’s economy by creating over 2,000 jobs during construction and contributing to the advancement of the biofuels industry in Brazil.
Inpasa’s Expansion in Brazil Promises to Generate Thousands of Jobs
Founded in Paraguay in 2007, the Inpasa Group took a significant step towards sustainable growth by beginning its operations in Brazil in 2018. With a headquarters in Paraguay and three operational units in Brazil (two in Mato Grosso and one in Mato Grosso do Sul), the new plant in Sidrolândia will be Inpasa’s sixth facility on the continent. This expansion indicates the company’s confidence in the potential of the Brazilian renewable energy market.
The new corn ethanol plant will be strategically located in Sidrolândia, about 70 kilometers from the state capital, Campo Grande. Inpasa already operates a unit in the municipality of Dourados, also in Mato Grosso do Sul. It is expected that the construction of the plant will be completed by the second half of 2024. During the construction period, over 2,000 temporary jobs will be created, and the operating plant will provide around 400 permanent jobs.

This will contribute to the verticalization of the raw material and open doors for more efficient production, increasing income and promoting sustainable economic development.
Inpasa Invests R$ 100 Million in Freight Cars and Locomotives to Ensure Logistic Efficiency
Inpasa is not limited to the production of corn ethanol. It plays a crucial role in the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy matrix. The company aims to transform natural resources into renewable energy sources, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change. Furthermore, the verticalization of biofuel production contributes to reducing carbon footprint and promoting environmental sustainability.
Recently, Inpasa announced an investment of R$ 100 million in the acquisition of 50 freight cars and two locomotives. This initiative aims to double the capacity for transporting ethanol by rail, making transportation more efficient and sustainable. These freight cars and locomotives will be operated by Rumo, a railway company, and represent a significant step in optimizing the logistics of biofuel transportation.
