A significant financial release with a large pension impact was recently confirmed in Brazil, attracting the attention of retirees and pensioners nationwide. In January 2026, the allocation of R$ 1.4 billion was authorized for the payment of arrears from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). However, when the amount exceeds 60 minimum wages, payment shifts to the precatório system, which has a specific annual calendar. Thus, the type of request directly influences the final receiving deadline.
How to Check INSS Payment
To verify if the amount has been included in the current round, the insured must access the site of the TRF responsible for the process or seek guidance from their lawyer. During the consultation, it will be necessary to provide information such as CPF, process number, or the OAB registration of the legal representative. This information allows locating the request and monitoring its status.
The type of payment, whether RPV or precatório, can be confirmed in the procedural tracking system provided by the courts. Therefore, monitoring each update is essential to confirm the issuance of the request and the expected deposit. It is only after the consolidation of information that the amounts are effectively released for bank credit.
Thus, the payment round announced in 2026 represents the administrative conclusion of thousands of requests for review and granting of pension benefits nationwide.
