Selection Process at the Federal Institute (IFRJ) Offers 43 Job Openings for Substitute Teachers, with Applications Until 02/23/2025.

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ) has published notice number 05/2024 for a selection process aimed at filling 43 substitute teacher positions. These positions are temporary and distributed across various campuses of the Federal Institute. The selection process is simplified and intended for professionals with a higher education degree.

In addition, positions are reserved for people with disabilities (PwD) and for black candidates (black and brown).

How to Apply for the Selection Process?

Applications for the Federal Institute’s selection process must be submitted by February 23, 2025, through the official portal.

The application fee is R$ 80.00 and must be paid within the stipulated deadline. The job openings are limited, so it is important not to miss the application date.

The selection of candidates will be conducted in two stages: curriculum analysis and remote interview. Both stages will have eliminatory and classificatory effects.

The positions will be filled based on the candidates’ performance, based on the analysis of curricula and the interview.

The result of the selection process will be announced on May 9, 2025.

Benefits Offered by the Federal Institute

Selected candidates for teaching positions at the Federal Institute will have salaries ranging from R$ 2,437.59 to R$ 6,356.02.

In addition to the salary, selected candidates will be entitled to a food allowance of R$ 1,000.00 and some other benefits.

Hiring will be on a temporary basis, and the validity of the selection process is one year, extendable for another year if there is interest from the Federal Institute.

The Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ) is a public and free educational institution that stands out for training critical and qualified citizens, offering humanized and excellent education.
