Prerequisites: Who Can Participate?
Not every student has the chance to embark on this trip to Canada. The Federal Institute RS has established specific criteria to ensure that the selected scholarship holders not only have the necessary academic performance but also the maturity and dedication to make the most of this international experience. To participate, it is essential to have completed between 20% to 90% of the workload of bachelor’s courses or between 40% to 60% for technology courses.
In addition to exemplary academic performance, with a Grade Point Average of seven or higher, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English, be at least 18 years old by the date of the trip, and not have participated in exchanges to Canada through the Federal Institute previously. These requirements ensure that the selected students are ready to venture beyond national borders, bringing with them not only knowledge but also an insatiable thirst for learning and exploring.
Heading to Canada: Applications and Documentation
The time has come to take the first step towards this educational adventure in Canada! Applications are open until March 5, 2024, and the process is simpler than you might think.
Interested candidates must send an email to the International Affairs Office of IFRS (assuntos.internacionais@ifrs.edu.br), including all the documents required in the Proex/IFRS Notice 02/2024.
