The Registrations for the English and Spanish Courses at the Federal Institute of Brasília Are Now Open and Will Close on March 15
Considering that learning one or more new languages is one of the main phases of the training and updating process in the job market, and that it opens various doors and opportunities, several public organizations open training actions for the initial and long-term development of languages. One such organization is the Federal Institute of Brasília, IFB, which is offering 54 spots for two language courses, one in English and the other in Spanish.

Thus, the Federal Institute published the Selection Notice 2022/1, fully focused on the selection process for the two language courses. Both Initial and Continuing Education courses, FIC Spanish and FIC Basic English, are in-person and held at the campus in the capital city, Brasília.

Spanish: This course lasts for 300 hours, with all classes held on Mondays. Its aim is to train professionals to work in numerous sectors that require a second language, using Spanish at a basic/initial level. During the course, the four main skills are developed: reading, writing, comprehension, and conversation.

English: This course lasts for only 60 hours, with classes on Monday for Group A and on Friday for Group B. Given that English is considered the universal language, the Federal Institute’s course aims to promote the development of professionals capable of using the language correctly in both professional and academic situations, as well as casual ones, requiring reading and oral communication, applying various basic techniques for comprehension.
How to Register for One of the Courses at the Federal Institute of Brasília
To compete for one of the 54 spots in the English or Spanish courses, candidates must fill out the registration form available at this link. The selection process will take place online, through an Electronic Lottery, conducted by the Federal Institute of Brasília itself. The results will be announced starting from March 18 of this year, along with the list of selected students.
