Learn How to Register for Free Courses at IFSP
The registration deadline for undergraduate courses is open until June 16. Classes start on July 24.
The IFSP Enem Entrance Exam will use exclusively the scores obtained in the National High School Exam (Enem), editions 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, for candidate classification. Candidates cannot have been eliminated in any of the exams or received a zero score in the essay.
The Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) maintains its affirmative action policy in the distribution of places in its selective process to comply with current legislation. Thus, half of the places in each program are reserved only for candidates who have completed high school entirely in Brazilian public education institutions.
What Requirements Are Considered for Public School Students?
Information declared by the candidate when registering for the selective process is used by the system to automatically define different classification lists, in which the candidate will compete with their score. For candidates who have studied entirely in Brazilian public schools, the reserve lists for free courses also consider requirements such as:
PPI if the candidate self-declares as black, mixed-race, or indigenous, PCD if the candidate is a person with a disability (according to Art. 2 of Law No. 13.146/15) and Income, if the gross income per person residing in the same household is less than or equal to R$ 1,412.00 prevailing in the three months prior to the registration date, that is, February, March, and April.
It is very important to pay attention when filling out the Registration Form and the Socioeconomic Questionnaire, as even if the candidate meets the requirements, if their answers do not identify them for the reserved places in undergraduate courses, they will compete only for the general admission places.
