Federal Institute of Ceará Opens 42 Free Higher Education Slots Until April 5, Take Advantage!
The campuses of Boa Viagem and Tauá of the Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCE) are offering around 42 slots for two free undergraduate courses, respectively: licentiate in Chemistry (20 slots – evening) and Technology in Telematics (22 – full-time).

Federal Institute of Ceará Expands More and More
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará (IFCE) currently has 25 units distributed across all regions of the State, with 23 campuses effectively established in the municipalities of Acaraú, Aracati, Baturité, Camocim, Canindé, Caucaia, Cedro, Crateús, Crato, Fortaleza, Iguatu, Jaguaribe, Juazeiro do Norte, Limoeiro do Norte, Maracanaú, Morada Nova, Tabuleiro do Norte, Tauá, Tianguá, Quixadá, Sobral, Ubajara and Umirim, and two advanced campuses under implementation in the municipalities of Guaramiranga and Jaguaruana.
Officially founded on December 29, 2008, by Law No. 11,892 signed by former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the Federal Institute of Ceará brings together the extinct Federal Centers of Technological Education of Ceará (Cefets/CE) and the Federal Agricultural Schools of the municipalities of Crato and Iguatu.
The new institution has a strong presence in research and extension, with a special focus on technical and technological areas.
