The Goal of the State Program Is to Reach About 950 Thousand Taxpayers with Outstanding IPVA Amounts.
If you, driver, thought that settling the overdue IPVA was an impossible mission, get ready for good news!
The Government of São Paulo launched the Paulista Agreement IPVA, which encourages the payment of debts up to R$ 42,432.00, including the Vehicle Property Tax (IPVA). The program offers a 100% discount on fines and interest and installment payments of up to 60 times for overdue amounts. Currently, there are R$ 2 billion in debts with more than 2 years registered in active debt.
“The revenue issue takes a back seat, and our goal is to promote a large social action. To bring peace of mind to residents of São Paulo who, for various reasons, ended up with debts of IPVA“, said Governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans). He added: “How many people have stopped working because they do not have the registration of their vehicle or motorcycle regularized? We want to open a path for those whose driver’s license is also their work permit.”

IPVA: Campaign Among Uber, 99 and iFood
Officially launched in February, the Paulista Agreement is a groundbreaking initiative in the State of SP. In three months, the first stage negotiated the payment of R$ 44 billion in debts from Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS).
The goal of the state program is to reach about 950 thousand taxpayers with outstanding amounts. To achieve this, the Attorney General’s Office of the State (PGE/SP) will initiate a broad communication campaign in partnership with the companies Uber, 99, and iFood, which will assist in promoting the new phase of the program so that the Paulista Agreement can reach the largest number of people.
How to Participate
Those interested can find more information about the Paulista Agreement and join the negotiations through the website www.acordopaulista.sp.gov.br, which will direct them to the Transaction Installment Portal, where they can select the desired service: IPVA, Court of Accounts, Court of Justice, ICMS, or other types of debts.
You, driver, will take advantage of this opportunity to regularize your IPVA and drive around with peace of mind?
