Distribution of Positions by State
The 415 positions available in the selection process are distributed across several cities in Mato Grosso do Sul, covering both urban and rural areas, including indigenous villages.
The majority of the positions are concentrated in the capital, Campo Grande, which offers 60 opportunities. However, there are also positions in cities such as Corumbá, with 17 positions, Dourados, with 36 positions, and Três Lagoas, with 33 positions.
Additionally, some rural areas and indigenous villages were also included in the notice. Examples include the Uberaba village in Corumbá, with one position, and the Sassoró village in Tacuru, which also offers one position.
This wide distribution reflects the Department of Education’s commitment to serving all regions of the state, ensuring the necessary support for educational activities, regardless of geographical location.
Among the cities with the highest number of available positions are Dourados, which, in addition to the opportunities in the municipal seat, offers positions in its districts, such as Itahum and Indápolis.
Três Lagoas also stands out, with positions available both in the city and in its districts.
Smaller cities, such as Água Clara and Amambai, have a reduced number of positions, but still offer significant opportunities for those looking to enter public service.
How Will the Candidate Evaluation Be Conducted?
The selection of candidates to fill the available positions will be done through a curricular evaluation, where items such as professional experience and training courses will be scored.
Regarding experience, points will be given for each six-month period of verified work in the role of Educational Activity Assistant, both in public and private institutions.
Each six-month period is equivalent to one point, with a maximum limit of six points in total.
Training courses will also carry weight in the evaluation, provided they have a minimum workload of 20 hours and were completed after 2019.
Undergraduate courses may also be used as a scoring criterion.
Each training course is worth one point, with a maximum of six points. Thus, candidates with both verified experience and recent training in the area may achieve a higher score in the curricular evaluation.
After the evaluation of documents and curricula, the results of the selection process will be announced on October 31, and those approved will be called according to the needs of the Department of Education.
The selection process’s validity period is one year, with the possibility of extension for another year, according to the needs of public administration.
For those interested in participating in the selection process and competing for the assistant positions, it is important to pay attention to deadlines and prepare the required documentation, which should be submitted in PDF format through the link to the document submission form, available on the official competition website.
The Department of Education of Mato Grosso do Sul emphasizes that all information is detailed in the selection process notice, which should be read carefully by candidates before applying.
