JBS announced yesterday, April 2, the opening of 3,000 job vacancies for various regions of the country. The vacancies announced, according to the company, are part of the company’s hiring plan in all regions of Brazil.

JBS claims to have operations in about 100 cities in Brazil, being the main employer in more than 70% of them.

In a conference call with analysts last week, JBS, which employs 120,000 people in Brazil, had already committed to maintaining its more than 240,000 employees worldwide, as well as investing R$ 8 billion in the country over the next five years.
The company also emphasized that, to ensure health and safety in factories, offices, and distribution centers, it adopted a series of measures that follow the guidelines and protocols of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ministry of Health, states, and municipalities.
Among the actions defined by JBS are practices to curb crowding, cleaning and disinfecting environments, distancing individuals in high-risk groups, systematic communication for individual prevention and protection, among others.
