Version 4xe of the New Compass Combines Two Electric Motors, Exclusive Suspension and 96 kWh Battery That Guarantees Up to 600 km.
Unveiled in May as Jeep’s most important launch in 2025, the new Compass is set to hit European stores in the fourth quarter, with starting prices of €41,000 (around R$ 262,000).
Within the range, the star is the 4xe version, which has gained off-road capabilities, a powerful electric setup, and a completely revamped interior.
Powertrain and Electric Performance
The Compass 4xe uses two electric motors, one on each axle, delivering a combined output of 375 hp. This setup ensures all-wheel drive and enhances usability in various terrains. The battery has a capacity of 96 kWh, sufficient to cover up to 600 km without a recharge, according to Jeep.

The charging time is also impressive: just 32 minutes at 190 kW DC stations. With these numbers, the brand places the SUV in a competitive position within the increasingly demanding European electric vehicle market in terms of efficiency.
Technological and Practical Interior
In addition to the mechanical setup, Jeep revealed the 4xe’s interior for the first time. The cabin focuses on innovative ergonomic solutions, various materials, and different color combinations for each version.
The dashboard features a horizontal 16-inch multimedia center, contrasting with the vertical standard of models like Ram 1500 and Fiat Toro.
Another interesting detail is the preparation for pet transportation.
The seats in the 4xe version have upholstery treated with polyurethane, which is twice as durable as conventional materials and easy to clean after outings in muddy environments. The rear seatbacks have received extra protection against scratches.
Construction and Dimensions
The third generation of the Compass also marks the debut of the STLA Medium platform, originally developed by Peugeot.
This architecture is shared with models like Peugeot 3008, Opel Grandland, and Citroën C5 Aircross, allowing gains in comfort, dynamics, and space.
Larger than its predecessor, the SUV now measures 4.55 meters in length and has a wheelbase of 2.79 meters. The trunk offers 550 liters according to the European standard, while the legroom for second-row passengers has increased by 5.5 cm.
Suspension and Off-Road Capabilities
On the mechanical side, the 4xe features exclusive suspension, raised by 10 mm, which ensures 27° approach angles, 31° departure angles, and a 16° ramp.
The design follows the same robust proposal, with 19-inch high-profile wheels, distinctive bumpers, and a hood with a matte black anti-reflective sticker.
Production and Future in Brazil
The production of the new Compass will soon begin at the Melfi plant in Italy, and will serve the entire European market. Unlike previous generations, which had global reach, this debut is currently focused only on Europe.
In Brazil, the launch has not yet been confirmed. The Goiana (PE) plant continues to produce the current model, but Stellantis has already acknowledged the possibility of adopting the new platform soon, which would pave the way for the third generation to be manufactured in the domestic market as well.
