Ocyan, in the Oil and Gas Sector, Has 17 Internship Positions for Candidates Without Experience in Rio de Janeiro and Macaé

Ocyan has opened applications for its internship program in Rio de Janeiro and Macaé. In total, the company operating in the oil and gas segment is offering 17 positions for candidates without experience. The company emphasizes that this year it aims to attract talent from the outskirts of Rio and also recalls that in 2020, it selected a team composed of 47% black individuals and 71% women. Oil and Gas Company Has Big Plans for Social Inclusion

Nir Lander, Vice President of People and Management at Ocyan, says that in 2019 they launched the Diversity Program, prioritizing three main focuses – gender equity, people with disabilities, and race/ethnicity – but the social theme is transversal to all of them. According to him, it is not enough to create positions and wait for candidates to appear. They realized that it is essential to encourage them to apply, especially considering that for a long time it was common for various companies to find job postings that explicitly stated proximity to the workplace or students from specific universities as selection criteria, concluded Lander.

The financial analyst of the oil and gas company, Matheus Oliveira, knows well what it’s like to live far away and be affected by restrictions imposed by many companies during recruitment. According to him, there are job sites that still today use distance radius as an exclusion requirement for certain selective processes.

ATTENTION! CPG is not responsible for the job offerings from Ocyan. The internship opportunities available for candidates without experience at the oil and gas company in Rio de Janeiro and Macaé are external and can be filled at any time. Check at the time of application if the positions are still available. If they are, be sure to apply.
