Knowing that Bahia is located in an area with strong winds, Casa dos Ventos will invest approximately R$ 8.646 billion in wind energy in the state. There will be several wind farms and many job openings.
Amid the water crisis, the news that a huge wind power plant is starting part of its commercial operations comes as music to the ears. The Rio do Vento Wind Complex, owned by Casa dos Ventos, has begun commercial operation of some turbines. Another good piece of news is that the project developer will start another wind farm in Bahia in the second semester of this year, which is expected to generate thousands of job openings.

More Than 10 Thousand Job Openings Will Be Created in Bahia
Nelson Leal, Secretary of Economic Development, emphasized that the state government, with this initiative, aims to decentralize investments in the capital and expand to other municipalities in Bahia, all through investment in inland cities.
Thus, the municipalities will have more internal investments, generating more job opportunities and income for the population. In total, more than 10,000 new jobs will be generated just in the installation process of the wind turbines. During the operational period, 52 jobs may be created in the wind farms.
