The City Hall of Recife announced the opening of registrations for 318 spots in free professional qualification courses offered in seven Vocational Schools in the municipality. The initiative aims to boost the development of skills and employability of residents of the capital of Pernambuco in various areas of the job market.
Diversity of Courses
The range of free courses offered covers different sectors, catering to a variety of interests and market demands. Among the available options, the highlights include: residential electricity for women, basic and intermediate computer skills, electrical commands, pharmacy assistant, production of regional cakes, bag and accessory making – module II, women’s hair cutting and image consulting, human resources, construction foreman, intermediate colorimetry, electrical welding, and photovoltaic energy. Classes will be held in the morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with a start date scheduled for May 5, offering flexibility for students.
The duration of the professional qualification courses varies between 60 and 120 hours, adapting to the complexity and content of each training program. For those who encounter difficulties in the online registration process, the participating Vocational Schools will offer in-person support to assist candidates.

Enrollment and Required Documentation
After completing the online registration, candidates for professional qualification must personally attend the Vocational School unit where they registered to finalize their enrollment. At the time of enrollment, it is necessary to present a photo ID, an updated proof of residence, and proof of education.
The minimum age required to participate in the free courses varies according to the modality, starting from 14 years old. In-person enrollments will take place from 8 AM to 9:30 PM, respecting the specific operating hours of each school. This in-person step is essential to secure a spot and begin the journey of professional qualification.
