In total, they may earn about 511.7 thousand decarbonization points (CBios) in the market each year. Among these four plants, the one that will have the most weight is Bianchini. The report accompanying the consultation process shows that the plant in Rio Grande do Sul has about a quarter of the certified production capacity – 27.5% and will have an Energy-Environmental Efficiency Rating (NEEA) of 45.5 gCO2eq/MJ.
Renovabio Program:
The main instrument of Renovabio is the establishment of annual national decarbonization targets for the fuel sector, in order to encourage the increase of production and the participation of biofuels in the country’s transportation energy matrix.

Producers and importers of biofuels wishing to join the program will hire accredited inspection firms from the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) to carry out the Biofuel Certification and validation of the Energy-Environmental Efficiency Rating and the eligible volume.
The Efficient Biofuel Production Certificate will be valid for three years, counted from the date of its approval by the ANP, and may only be issued by the inspection firm after the approval of the process by the Agency.
