The conditions for exemption include being a beneficiary of the Unified Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico) or being a bona fide bone marrow donor in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health.

Selection Process and Stages

Approved candidates in the written exam will go through several other stages, including document and biographical data verification, health inspection, physical fitness test, and psychological evaluation. These stages will take place between February and April 2025.

Training Course
Those approved will enter the training course at the Admiral Alexandrino Instruction Center (CIAA), in Rio de Janeiro. The course lasts up to 24 weeks and is an essential phase of the selection process. During the course, recruits are enrolled as seamen and receive a salary of R$ 1,185. After graduation, the new Navy corporals will have a salary of R$ 2,627, plus benefits.
