Unmissable Opportunity for High School Level Technicians in Various Areas: The Exams Will Be Held in Several Cities Across Almost the Entire Country!

If you dream of pursuing a career in the Brazilian Navy, this is your chance! Registration is open for the public competition that will select 200 candidates for the Auxiliary Corps of Squares (CAP). The vacancies are for men and women aged between 18 and 24 years with a high school technical education. Applications and Requirements

The application period runs until July 15, at 11:59 PM (Brasilia time). Interested parties must register on the official website of the Navy (www.ingressonamarinha.mar.mil.br). The application fee is R$ 65, but those who meet certain conditions can request an exemption until July 5. The conditions for exemption include being a beneficiary of the Unified Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico) or being a bona fide bone marrow donor in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health.

Selection Process and Stages

The first phase of the Navy competition will be a written exam, scheduled for September 29. The exam will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions on professional knowledge and the preparation of a written essay. The exams will be conducted in 20 different cities, including

  • Rio de Janeiro
  • São Paulo
  • Brasília
  • Belo Horizonte
  • Salvador
  • Manaus
  • among others

Approved candidates in the written exam will go through several other stages, including document and biographical data verification, health inspection, physical fitness test, and psychological evaluation. These stages will take place between February and April 2025.

Training Course

Those approved will enter the training course at the Admiral Alexandrino Instruction Center (CIAA), in Rio de Janeiro. The course lasts up to 24 weeks and is an essential phase of the selection process. During the course, recruits are enrolled as seamen and receive a salary of R$ 1,185. After graduation, the new Navy corporals will have a salary of R$ 2,627, plus benefits.
