A partnership between the MEC and Senai is making 762 spots available for qualification in free short courses in Rio Grande do Sul. The training covers areas such as electrical, mechanical, civil construction, and others, all external to meet the labor demand in the state.
This initiative is part of Pronatec and aims to contribute to the isolation of areas affected by climate disasters, as well as to promote regional economic development. With an investment of R$ 1.3 million from the Ministry of Education, the courses are 100% free and in-person, with classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

Selection Process: Easy and Accessible
The selection of candidates is simple and accessible. No prior experience is required, but it is essential that the student commits to attending in-person classes. Priority will be given to residents of areas most affected by natural disasters, as a way to support the community’s security forces.
After registration, candidates for the free qualification courses in partnership between MEC and Senai must go to the Senai unit where the course will be held to confirm their enrollment. It is necessary to bring documents such as ID, CPF, and proof of residence.
