And the best part? There is no entrance exam, no limit on slots, and anyone anywhere in Brazil can participate.
How Does It Work?
The opportunities offered by MEC are available on the virtual learning platform Aprenda Mais MEC. The courses are free and focus on essential content for those wishing to delve deeper or start from scratch in a new language. With the possibility of studying at your own pace, the only requirement is that classes be completed by January 31, 2025. And five days after the course ends, the certificate can already be issued.
Free English and Spanish Courses
The English and Spanish courses offered by MEC have a workload of 30 hours and cater to various levels of knowledge. In the basic levels of English, students learn about topics such as personal identification, location, transportation, and daily routines. In more advanced levels, the focus shifts to topics like travel, leisure, and more complex grammar, including modal verbs and past and future verb tenses.
