The Ministry of Education (MEC) is currently accepting registrations for free language courses, including English, Spanish, and French, through the Aprenda Platform. The teaching modality is distance learning (EaD), providing flexibility to students. These courses, which do not require a selection process, offer valid certification that can be used as complementary hours in undergraduate programs.

There is also a training course focused on proficiency in the Portuguese language, ideal for refugees, naturalized Brazilians, or anyone looking to improve their language skills.

Who Can Participate?

The spots are unlimited and open to anyone interested, anywhere in Brazil. Each course has a workload that varies from 30 to 40 hours and must be completed by July 31 of this year. The flexibility of EaD allows students to attend classes according to their own availability, making learning more accessible.

Courses Offered

Spanish:
The Spanish course covers topics from basic ones, such as greetings, alphabet, and essential vocabulary, to more advanced themes like health, travel, and geographical orientation. Basic grammar is presented practically to facilitate communication.

English:
The modules of the English course include personal identification, transportation, and weather, as well as sports and leisure. There is also a focus on grammar, with basic verb tenses, possessive pronouns, and modal verbs. Students learn vocabulary related to travel, health, work, and academic environments.

French:

Basic French: Covers introductions and everyday life, suitable for high school and college students.
French Applied to Management: With 40 hours, it focuses on tourism, airports, health, and safety, and requires equipment with audio and video.
French Applied to Production and Service: With 30 hours, it covers topics such as accommodation, reservations, and restoration.
