In the activities of the course for Captains in the U.S., which lasted 27 weeks, the officers were prepared to perform the role of Subunit Commander and as a member of the General Staff, emphasizing the use of Task Forces in combat, combined with fires, Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (IRVA), intelligence means, engineering, aviation, and logistics.

Course for Captains in the U.S.

The course for captains in the U.S., where the Brazilian Army soldier gained prominence, is structured into three main phases, namely company, command, and battalion.

Its main assessment tool is oral expression, responsible for providing immediate feedback to students, evaluating not only their ability to communicate effectively but also the processes and skills of tactical thinking in decision-making.

The assessment criteria for the course for Captains in the U.S. also include Physical Fitness Test, planning using the Troop Leading Procedure (TLP), and the ability to work integrating a General Staff at the Unit level.

The participation of the Brazilian military in the MCCC aims to enhance leadership and military tactical skills, reinforcing the commitment and importance of the partnership between the armies of Brazil and the U.S.

Additionally, it is also an important tool for integration and mutual understanding between the armies. It strengthens the bonds of friendship and cooperation among all participating countries, fostering interoperability and promoting global security.

Brasians Gain Recognition Abroad

In addition to this Brazilian Army soldier who stood out in the MCCC, in November of last year, Captain Túlio Moreira successfully completed the U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery Captains Career Course at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Among 27 officers, consisting of 15 Americans and 12 foreigners, the Brazilian captain achieved second place overall and was awarded the MG Infante IMS Honor Graduate medal, an honor granted to the foreigner who performed best.

The classification of the Brazilian Army soldier highlights Brazil’s prestige in the international arena and emphasizes the training of Brazilian military personnel in high-level formations. The course for captains in the U.S. lasts six months and aims to train technical and tactical leaders in Air Defense systems, generating skills for decision-making in complex and challenging environments.

Os militares brasileiros são mais respeitados e valorizados no exterior do que no Brasil. Fruto do antipatriotismo pregado em solo brasileiro.
