Model displayed in Brazil features 4K camera, artificial intelligence, and visual assistant features, but is still not available in national stores. Xiaomi brought the accessory to Eletrolar Show 2026 to showcase its bet on connected glasses, a category competing for attention with Ray-Ban Meta.
Xiaomi showcased in Brazil the Xiaomi AI Glasses, smart glasses with artificial intelligence, 12 MP camera, 4K recording, and Snapdragon AR1 chip, during the Eletrolar Show 2026, which opened on Monday (22), at the Anhembi District in São Paulo.
Presented as part of the brand’s connected products showcase, the accessory still has no global launch forecast and, for now, remains distant from Brazilian stores.
With features to capture images, record videos, summarize content, and interpret information seen by the user, the model brings the glasses closer to a wearable digital assistant.

Even displayed in the country, the product remains restricted to the Chinese market, where the reported price is around R$ 1,500.
Xiaomi AI Glasses appear in Brazil, but will not be sold here yet
The demonstration at the fair does not represent, at this moment, a commercial debut in Brazil, as Xiaomi used the event to present part of its smart ecosystem to the public and industry representatives.
With no announced date for other markets, the Xiaomi AI Glasses remain available only in China, while the manufacturer has not yet detailed international distribution plans for the accessory.
Held from June 22 to 25 at the Anhembi District in São Paulo’s capital, the Eletrolar Show 2026 brings together companies from electronics, technology, mobility, and innovation sectors.
The event is presented by the organization as the main meeting of the industry, retail, and distribution of durable consumer goods in Latin America.
In this scenario, the Xiaomi AI Glasses serves as a showcase for the brand’s strategy for connected devices, especially in a category that tries to combine discreet design, artificial intelligence, and everyday use.
By combining the appearance of conventional glasses with functions of a cell phone, portable camera, and AI assistant, the product reduces the dependence on a screen in hand to perform some tasks.
Snapdragon AR1 boosts artificial intelligence features
On the technical side, the accessory is based on the Snapdragon AR1, a processor aimed at augmented reality devices and wearables, in conjunction with the BES2700H chip.
This combination was chosen to support artificial intelligence features and, at the same time, help control energy consumption during daily use.
In practice, the proposal is to allow photo and video recording, smart commands, and automated functions without abandoning the lightweight format of regular glasses.
There is also participation from Goertek in the development of the device, a Chinese company specialized in electronic components and associated with the production of technological equipment.
Among the most notable features, the 12 MP camera enhances the appeal of the accessory for those seeking quick captures without directly resorting to a cell phone.
With support for 4K filming, the equipment enters the same competitive field as products like the Ray-Ban Meta, a direct reference in the smart glasses market.
AI analyzes labels, medicines, and meeting contents
In addition to the camera, the Xiaomi AI Glasses bet on visual interpretation features to transform what the user sees into useful information for daily life.
Among these functions is the Afu Health Manager, an assistant capable of analyzing nutritional labels and medicine packages through the glasses’ visual interface.
This feature shifts part of the artificial intelligence from the cell phone to the user’s field of vision, which expands the accessory’s use in quick tasks and everyday consultations.
With this proposal, Xiaomi attempts to transform the glasses into a tool to understand products, organize visual information, and support simple decisions without requiring many steps on another device.
Another presented function involves the automatic generation of summaries of meetings and lectures, a feature aimed at work environments, study, and public presentations.
During audio recordings, the device can capture images and organize the content afterward, reinforcing the idea of a device also aimed at productivity.
Despite the set of features, availability outside China still limits Brazilian consumer access to the model.
As long as there is no official forecast for a global launch, the Xiaomi AI Glasses remain a demonstration of technology, even after appearing at a fair aimed at the national market.
Competition with Ray-Ban Meta involves camera, AI, and availability
The comparison with the Ray-Ban Meta occurs because both products start from the same central idea: transforming everyday glasses into connected devices, capable of capturing images and operating with the support of a digital assistant.
The differences, however, lie in the features offered, the commercial strategy of each manufacturer, and the availability of devices in the markets where the brands operate.
In the case of Xiaomi, the focus presented involves a high-resolution camera, 4K recording, embedded artificial intelligence, and integration with health and productivity features.
With this format, the brand tries to bring together fashion accessories and smart equipment, without abandoning an appearance similar to common glasses.
Even so, the display in Brazil should be seen as a demonstration of positioning, not as an announcement of local sales.
So far, the manufacturer has not informed the date of arrival in the country, official values in reais for the Brazilian market, nor details about homologation, distribution, or national support.
The presence of the Xiaomi AI Glasses at Eletrolar Show 2026 reinforces the brand’s attempt to expand its image in the connected devices sector, at a time when smart glasses are regaining space among technology companies.
For Brazilian consumers, however, the model remains distant from the shelves while Xiaomi does not confirm a global strategy for the product.
