Event Focused on Clean Energy Production Through Micro and Mini-Generation of Energy Promises to Boost the Sector Between November 16 and 17
Data from the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) reveals that the micro and mini-generation energy market is growing in the country. The latest survey shows that production reached the mark of 23 MW of energy last month, which reinforces the need to understand more about the new opportunities and challenges so that the numbers continue to rise.
This is how the 8th Brazilian Congress on Distributed Generation (CBGD 2023) will take place in November. The event, promoted by the Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation (ABGD), will be held in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, between November 16 and 17.
Like the last editions, the event counts on the support of the main associations and entities linked to the Distributed Generation sector in Brazil, and is considered a fundamental part of this new phase of the Brazilian Energy Matrix, where the search for clean technologies for energy generation is urgent to guarantee the future and growth of the country.

What to Expect at CBGD 2023
With a huge structure, CBGD 2023 will have many new features this year. According to the FRG Media & Events Group, the organizing company, the congress will be divided into two auditoriums, one of which will involve topics on distributed generation, while the third will focus on renewable hydrogen and Energy Storage.
More than 80 lectures are also expected over the two days, as well as the presentation of the Renewable Energy Award.
According to the organization, the award aims to recognize companies, entities, and individuals for their outstanding performance in the Brazilian renewable energy market as a whole over the past decade.
“Working on engagement and opinion for over 10 years, the FRG Media &
Events Group has more than 100 publications dedicated to renewable energies in areas such as: energy storage, biomass, DG, wind, and solar. In addition, we have contacts with many people who have made and helped write the history of renewable energies in recent years,” states Fraga, CEO of the FRG Media & Events Group.
‘’So we understand that it is important to celebrate this special moment for renewable energies in Brazil, and it is only fair to gather, honor, and pay tribute to those who made a difference at certain moments over the last decade. I know that someone may be missing, but as much as possible, we tried to bring together the key contributors,” he points out.
