Modern carriages and more comfort for passengers
The new carriages, manufactured by the Chinese company CRRC, bring innovations to improve the passenger experience.

The structure also has a system of noise reduction, ensuring a quieter and more cozy environment.
Expansion planned for 2026
Vale also announced that, as of 2026, the service will be expanded with the addition of a new schedule in each direction.
This expansion aims to increase the supply of trips and reduce passenger waiting times, making rail transport an even more efficient option.
Advantages of rail transport
In addition to providing more comfort and safety, traveling by train offers environmental and economic advantages.
Unlike road trips, the train emits less pollutants and reduces congestion on the highways, being a more sustainable alternative.
Passengers can also move freely around the carriages, enjoy on-board services and avoid common road problems such as accidents and traffic jams.
The predictability of schedules and the stability of the route are also positive points that make this transport option more attractive.
Importance of EFVM for the regional economy
A Vitória-Minas Railway is one of the few passenger railways still in operation in Brazil, playing a fundamental role in the region's economy.
In addition to serving passengers, the railway also transports essential cargo, such as minerals, agricultural inputs and industrial products.
With the modernization of the train, it is expected that more people will opt for it. railway modal, boosting the sector and encouraging new investments in infrastructure.

And you, what do you think of this initiative? Should Brazil invest more in rail transport? Comment below!
Good afternoon, gentlemen. I would like information about the service provided within the composition... I am referring to the employees... I would like to know how to obtain more information to apply for a position to provide this type of service... I say this because I was a train agent here in MS... at RFFSA... if you could give me the contact details of the company or the managers responsible, so that I can apply for a position, I worked in this position for 10 years.

Alisson, how do you write that the train will be inaugurated this Wednesday, the 5th? If you write on the 13.03th of March, this confuses us. I will travel on the Valle train by coincidence on the 5th, but on the 05.04.25th of April, XNUMX, will it already be the new composition?
The country should invest in rail transport following the example of Europe and Japan.
Passenger transport by train has never been of interest to the Brazilian government, which has always preferred to prioritize passenger transport by bus, which enriches the owners of bus companies.
Mass transportation, such as trains and subways, will always be more expensive than buses and trucks. This is the first justification. Efficiency comes with more expenses and corruption. In another step, the business lobby is in tow, trying to dismantle the entire railway network. The Recovery will cost taxpayers a lot of money, something that could be avoided if they were careful with the investments, as Baron Rio Branco can attest.
Exactly That!
Businessmen who are allies of Politicians who will never let rail transport take their companies out of the circuit
Yes, but what we are saying is from now on. The past is already behind us.
What do you want? The truck and car factories in our country are all foreign. You won't see a single car on the streets from the only genuinely Brazilian company, Agralle. The tire manufacturers... tell me which brand is Brazilian? What about all this on the tracks? Is it in the government's or the country's interest to prioritize the highways?
Your country had it. Ask the **** military, with the support of Mercedes, Scania, Shell, Michelin, Ford and others, what they did with our railway network in the 70s and 80s. We were supposed to be a powerhouse in this mode. For example, there was a line that connected Montes Claros, MG, to Rio daily.
A great former president admired by many plundered the rails to build a capital in the Midwest, as we did not have enough steel.
In the 60s and 70s we had trains from São Paulo to Maringá Paraná. São Paulo to Lapas in Bolivia. And much more. So ask this question to the former military president, and other military men who are still around who helped destroy the railway network.
Without any attributions to these or those, the final straw for the railroads was privatization, which relegated passenger transport to the background to the detriment of cargo, with an emphasis on minerals, and the scrapping of secondary routes that had no commercial interest. Concessions were given to large operators such as Vale, among others, who filled the pockets of corrupt politicians.
The person who ended and privatized the railways was a certain Fernando Henrique. During the military government, there were many investments in railways. Just look up how many bridges and viaducts were built.
The first to end the railways was General Castelo Branco, who in 1966, by decree, closed the Bahia and Minas Railway, leading to bankruptcy in the entire Jequitinhonha valley, Mucuri valley, up to Caravelas and Ponta de Areia, in the south of Bahia.
It left the cities of Araçuaí, Novo Cruzeiro, Ladainha, Teófilo Otoni, Nanuque, Caravelas, Ponta de Areia, as well as other small districts, practically isolated, just to remind you.
Yes, please let's restore our rail network.
I share this same view/understanding. See my comment above responding to Gladstone Duarte.
The deactivation of our railway lines is a US project to hinder our economic growth.
The first Lula government began to change this reality and today you can transport anything from Mato Grosso to Maranhão.
It has already invested… however, during the military government, bus transportation was “privileged”…
