Otis Brazil, part of Otis Worldwide Corporation, a global leader in elevator manufacturing and maintenance, has been chosen for the modernization of the four elevators of Elevador Lacerda, a historic landmark in Salvador, Bahia. This renewal, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the monument, promises to bring technological advancements and aesthetic improvements, providing a more comfortable experience for tourists and local residents.
A Modern And Comfortable Ride
The modernization will involve the installation of Otis Prima automatic doors, LED lighting, and an air conditioning system in all cabins, raising the standard of comfort and aesthetics. Additionally, the cabins will be equipped with granite flooring, brushed stainless steel ceilings, an intercom system for communication with passengers, and new coverings for the side and back panels. The internal and floor push buttons of the Otis Jade Basic model will receive a new look with digital position and direction indicators.
