National Impact and Expert Commentary

Ricardo Henrique, data analyst at the IPTC, stated that there was a change in the pattern of price variations for Diesel S10 and Common this week, resulting in a general increase. “This increase is directly related to the repercussions of the last significant increase in fuel prices announced by Petrobras. It is important to emphasize that, due to a lack of data, it was not possible to analyze the price variation in some capitals,” explained the analyst.
Looking individually at the capitals, Rio Branco showed the highest prices for Diesel S10, costing R$ 6.44, and Common Diesel at R$ 6.26. In contrast, Maceió registered the lowest prices, with Diesel S10 at R$ 5.11 and Common at R$ 5.09.
