Subsea 7 Wins Multi-Million Dollar Contract with Petrobras for the Búzios Field

The Norwegian multinational Subsea 7, a global leader in delivering offshore projects and services for the energy market, headquartered in the United Kingdom, announced that it has won the EPCI / SURF³ contract with Petrobras, valued at approximately US$ 750 million. The company will now develop the 8th module of the Búzios field, located more than 180 kilometers off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, and at a depth of 2,000 meters in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin.

According to Subsea 7, project management and engineering are already scheduled to begin immediately at the company’s offices in Rio de Janeiro and Paris, France.
