The Bahia Energy Generation, from the Neoenergia Group, signed a purchase contract for CEB – Companhia Energética de Brasília last Tuesday. The Spanish group was the winner of an auction held on the stock exchange in December last year. CEB was sold for 2.51 billion reais. The governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha, who participated in the ceremony, said he was very happy and calm about the sale. “The resources will be invested where the city needs, which is in infrastructure.”
