Neymar bought a penthouse for R$ 314 million in Dubai at Bugatti Residences by Binghatti, a project with Sky Mansion, artificial beach, and private car elevator.

According to CARAS Brasil, Neymar Jr. expanded his international real estate portfolio by purchasing a high-end penthouse in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, valued at about R$ 314 million, equivalent to approximately US$ 54.4 million at the exchange rate at the time. The acquisition was made in 2024, a period when the player was still playing for Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, and the project’s delivery is scheduled for 2027.

The property is part of the Bugatti Residences by Binghatti, a development described by the developer Binghatti itself as the first and only Bugatti residential project in the world. Located in Business Bay, Dubai, the building was designed to bring to the real estate sector the same language of exclusivity, performance, and design associated with the French hypercar manufacturer.

The penthouse acquired by Neymar is not a common unit within the building. It is part of the Sky Mansion collection, a group that gathers the most exclusive residences in the building and features precisely the differentiators that have made the project one of the most talked-about in the ultra-luxury market in Dubai.

According to CARAS Brasil, the purchase is part of a broader asset diversification strategy by the player, who has been expanding his presence in the international real estate market. In the case of Dubai, the chosen asset is among the city’s most striking properties both in value and concept.

Binghatti states that the Bugatti Residences by Binghatti comprises 182 units, all with individualized layouts, and was designed to reflect the “one-of-one” philosophy associated with Bugatti. Within this set, the Sky Mansion units represent the absolute top of the project’s pyramid, with scale, privacy, and services far above the rest of the tower.

This positioning helps explain why the purchase gained so much attention. It is not just another luxury apartment in Dubai, but one of the units within the rarest and most exclusive range of a project already conceived for the extreme segment of the global real estate market.

Private car elevator is the most striking feature of Neymar’s penthouse

The element that attracted the most attention in the project was the private car elevator system. According to Binghatti, the building has automotive elevators that allow penthouse owners to bring their vehicles directly to the residence, making the car part of the domestic experience itself.

In practice, this means that the car is not hidden in a conventional underground garage. It rises through the building’s structure and can be positioned within the private area of the unit, as an integrated display piece in the property. It is a concept consistent with the logic of the Bugatti brand, where the car is not just transportation but a symbol of identity, collection, and status.

In the case of the Sky Mansion units, the developer itself highlights that this feature is among the central items of the project.

This helps explain why Neymar’s purchase gained so much traction on social media and in the news: the idea of parking a supercar inside one’s own apartment encapsulates like few elements the level of extravagance sold by this type of development in Dubai.

Ultra-luxury building in Dubai mixes Bugatti, artificial beach, and inspiration from the French Riviera

According to Binghatti, the architectural concept of the development was inspired by the French Riviera, a reference that appears both in the design and in the experience promised to residents. The facade was designed with fluid lines and smooth curves, while the project’s marketing sells the idea of a private resort in the heart of Dubai.

The developer also highlights the presence of the first private beach inspired by the Riviera in Business Bay, reinforcing the attempt to transport the imagery of the French coast to a residential tower located in one of the emirate’s most valued urban areas.

This type of promise is central to the local ultra-luxury real estate market, which sells not just space and finish, but a complete lifestyle.

Within this logic, Neymar’s penthouse does not just represent an expensive property. It represents entry into a luxury ecosystem where architecture, automotive brand, location, and living experience have been merged into a single real estate product designed for ultra-high-income global buyers.

Neymar’s Purchase Reinforces Dubai’s Role as a Showcase for the Ultra-Luxury Real Estate Market

The acquisition also helps illustrate why Dubai has established itself as one of the most aggressive centers in the ultra-luxury real estate market worldwide. Developments like Bugatti Residences by Binghatti have been designed to meet exactly the profile of celebrities, billionaires, athletes, and international investors seeking assets with global appeal, strong brand symbolism, and high visibility potential.

According to CARAS Brasil, Neymar’s move in Dubai is part of a broader real estate portfolio, which also includes assets outside Brazil.

This reinforces a common strategy among very high-income athletes: transforming sports career earnings into long-term assets distributed in premium markets.

In this context, the penthouse acquired by Neymar functions simultaneously as a status symbol, asset, and part of a market that has turned extravagance into a product. In Dubai, a car elevator inside the apartment and an artificial beach in the middle of the city are not just curiosities. They are selling points for the top of the global luxury pyramid.
