Manufacturer Will Sign Contract With German Developer For Supply And Installation Of Denker & Wulf In Repowering Projects Of Wind Farms In Brandenburg And Lower Saxony.
Nordex has confirmed the order of wind turbines, totaling 122 MW, from the German developer Denker & Wulf for three projects in Germany. The turbines will be supplied and installed in wind farms located in northern Germany, with a 15-year service commitment from Nordex. In Schleswig-Holstein, the Gonnebek 1 & 2 wind farm, with a capacity of 67.5 MW, will feature a total of 12 turbines, including 11 N149/5.X units and one N133/4.8 machine. In addition, Nordex will supply turbines for other wind farms, such as the Schonermark wind farm.
The wind turbines supplied by Nordex will include market-leading technology, such as the ‘BNK-Ready’ solution for customized nighttime marking and a frost detection system. Furthermore, the turbines will be equipped with shadow and bat modules, meeting all requirements for sound and shadow projection, as well as species protection. Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President of Nordex in Germany, commented: ‘We are very pleased that our high-performance wind turbines will replace smaller and older turbines as part of two repowering projects. This is important for the energy transition in Germany.’
German Wind Turbine Developer Sets Commissioning Record In The Country
The German wind turbine developer, Nordex, has reached a significant milestone in the supply and installation of wind turbines in projects in the country. The company completed the installation of 30 turbines at the wind farm with N133/4.8 machines in Brandenburg and Lower Saxony, establishing a new commissioning record for the region.

The world has bet on green hydrogen as the fuel of the future, but now faces the side effect: producing 1 kilogram requires about 9 liters of ultrapure water, and the largest projects on the planet are precisely in the driest regions of the Earth, where water is already scarce for people.
The N133/4.8 machine from Nordex is equipped with a frost detection system and shadow and bat modules, ensuring safety and environmental preservation. In addition, the company is also involved in repowering projects for older wind turbines, aiming to enhance the efficiency and performance of the wind farm.
With the growing demand for renewable energy, Nordex’s wind turbines play a crucial role in providing clean and sustainable electricity for the region. The company continues to expand its presence and contribute to the country’s energy transition. The emphasis on cutting-edge technology and innovation positions Nordex as a leader in the renewable energy sector.
