Vestas Signs Agreement to Supply V236-15.0 MW Turbines to the 390 MW Shinan Ui Offshore Wind Project, with Fixed Foundations and Maintenance Service.
The South Korean company Hanwha Corporation has been chosen as the preferred supplier by Vestas for the 390 MW Shinan Ui offshore wind project in South Korea.
The project is a partnership of Shinan Ui Offshore Wind, a special purpose vehicle established by Hanwha Corporation E&C Division, SK D&D, and KOEN, in the Jeolla province of South Korea.
If the project materializes, it will feature 26 units of V236-15.0 MW turbines, which will be installed on fixed foundations in the southeast waters of Ui Island.
