New Bajaj Dominar NS 160 Challenges the CG 160 Titan with More Equipment, More Powerful Engine, and Lower Price in the Brazilian Market.
The competition among low-displacement motorcycles has gained a new chapter with the arrival of the new Bajaj Dominar NS 160. The Indian model arrives in the market with more standard items, superior performance, and a more competitive price than its main rival, the Honda CG 160 Titan. Below are three points where Bajaj has an advantage over its competitor.
More Equipped than the Honda CG 160 Titan
The new Dominar NS 160 offers a more comprehensive list of equipment than the Honda CG 160 Titan, even after the upgrade of the Japanese brand’s 2025 lineup.
The CG Titan received improvements such as disc brakes on both wheels, ABS on the front brake, LED lighting, a new USB-C port, and a digital dashboard with a Blackout display.

Despite the updates, Bajaj stands out by delivering an even more advanced package. The Dominar NS 160 now includes a dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity, integration with the Bajaj Ride Connect app, full-LED headlights, a USB port next to the dashboard, and three riding modes — road, rain, and off-road. The latter is a first in the low-displacement street motorcycle category.
Superior Performance of the Indian Motorcycle
When it comes to power, the Bajaj Dominar NS 160 also takes the lead. The engine of the model delivers 17 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and torque of 1.488 kgf.m at 7,250 rpm.
In comparison, the Honda CG 160 Titan offers up to 14.7 horsepower with ethanol or 14.4 horsepower with gasoline, both at 8,000 rpm. The Titan’s torque reaches a maximum of 1.43 kgf.m with ethanol at 6,750 rpm.
Both have a five-speed transmission, but Bajaj differentiates itself by offering superior performance in all usage conditions. Honda’s flex technology, on the other hand, is still a differentiator for those seeking versatility in refueling.
More Competitive Price than the Rival
In addition to the equipment and power, the Dominar NS 160 comes to consumers at a more affordable price. Bajaj’s model has a suggested public price of R$ 17,900, already including freight. In comparison, the Honda CG 160 Titan starts at R$ 19,520.
The difference becomes even greater when observing the average price of the Titan in the Fipe Table, which is quoted at R$ 23,101. Thus, Bajaj delivers more technology for less money.
