Multotec, a renowned South African company specializing in ore processing, inaugurated its new factory in Contagem, Minas Gerais. The opening event was attended by directors, suppliers, employees, and representatives from the City Hall of Contagem, including the Secretary of Economic Development, René Vilela. Focusing on the manufacture of screening media, the company invested over R$ 10 million in the new unit, which has a monthly production capacity of 15 to 20 tons of elastomers.

During the ceremony, Roy Roche, Business Development Executive in South America, highlighted that the inauguration of the ore factory in Contagem is part of the group’s expansion plan. With the creation of 200 new direct jobs, Multotec reinforces its commitment to the economic development of the region. The warehouse where the factory was installed has a total area of 4,000 m² and is located in the VM5 Logistics Condominium, the former Auction Palace, in a strategic position to meet market demands.
The CEO of Multotec, Thomas Holtz, emphasized the importance of establishing the ore factory in Brazil, noting that this will allow for the customization of the products developed by the company.
