New IFA Ltda Factory in Terenos, MS, Will Invest R$ 45 Million and Create 210 Jobs, Boosting the Pharmaceutical Industry and the Local Economy.
Terenos, a city in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, is about to experience a significant economic transformation with the arrival of a new factory from IFA Ltda, a renowned pharmaceutical industry from Bolivia. The official announcement was made by Governor Eduardo Riedel, who delivered the license for the installation of the unit during his visit to the company headquarters in Bolivia last Thursday (8). This venture marks a significant step for the region, promising not only to strengthen the local economy but also to create hundreds of new job opportunities.
Investment and Job Creation with the New Factory
The investment in the new unit will be R$ 45 million. The new factory is expected to generate 210 direct job opportunities for the local population.
The construction of the unit began in 2022 and is planned to be carried out in three phases.

According to Governor Eduardo Riedel, the arrival of IFA Ltda represents an important achievement for the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
He emphasized that this will be the first time a company of IFA’s size opens a factory in the state.
The governor believes that the new unit will bring innovation and significantly contribute to the region’s economic development.
In addition to creating new job positions, the factory will help diversify the local economy and strengthen the presence of the pharmaceutical industry in Mato Grosso do Sul.
The expectation is that IFA Ltda’s presence in the region will also attract other companies and investments to the state.
