With More Than One Million Cubic Meters, The New Electrolux Factory Will Be A Major Achievement In The Region, Both For The Economy And For Job Creation

Electrolux is making a significant step toward the future with the construction of its new factory in São José dos Pinhais, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. With more than one million cubic meters of earth moved in the initial phase alone, this mega project promises to transform the landscape and the economy of the region.

Bernardo Oliveira, manager of the business unit at Construtora De Amorim, highlights the importance of the factory’s construction for the local community: “The construction of the factory represents a significant milestone for São José dos Pinhais, as the Electrolux Group will invest R$ 700 million, promoting development for the region.”

Optimistic Job Projections and Timeline

With activities planned until October 31, 2024, the new Electrolux factory is expected to generate about two thousand jobs in the future, providing employment opportunities and boosting the local economy.

In this initial phase, earthworks are the focus, preparing the ground for the industrial plant.
