Technology Platform Reduces Fuel Costs Allows Real-Time Monitoring, Cost Reduction, and Errors, and Also Includes a Module for Tire Control
Unfortunately, with the surge in fuel prices, filling up has not been the most pleasant of sensations, and this new reality has been testing the pockets of Brazilians. For transportation companies and other businesses of all sectors that have fleets for their transport services, the mission is even tougher. It is estimated that, on average, half of the fleet expenses are directly related to fuel.

In light of this scenario of rising prices, there has never been a greater need to seek solutions to minimize expenses and waste. With this focus, companies are turning to technology and management systems. One such tool has been created by Gestran, a company from Paraná with over two decades in the market for developing systems for the transportation and logistics sectors. It is called Gestran Frotas, designed based on the needs of fleet managers with the aim of automating and simplifying daily manual processes. Watch the video below and understand how it works!
Platform Monitors Fuel and Tire Expenses
“Technology enables us to automate and accelerate operational processes, reducing costs and increasing the profitability of companies,” emphasizes Paulo Raymundi, CEO of Gestran. He states that with the system, it is possible to significantly reduce costs. “With the Fleet Management platform, we can provide an average savings of 20 to 25% for the entire fleet, as our system has technology that assesses and crosses a range of data and offers our clients the best options,” he explains.

The platform monitors fuel and tire expenses, indicates if maintenance is needed, and highlights costs. The tool serves transportation companies and any business that has a fleet of vehicles, such as retail, industry, agribusiness, and even public administrations. It also allows searching for better prices at fuel stations in Brazil by region, city, station, and brand, aiding in negotiations with fuel stations.
“It is possible to simulate on the Gestran website using our impact calculator, which shows right away what the potential savings can be,” Raymundi explains, highlighting that the platform’s format also allows for fuel stock management, real-time expense monitoring, integration with internal pumps, and reduction of costs and errors with entries, as well as control of discounts in fill-ups. The Fleet Management also has a module for tire control, with the same premise of savings for small, medium, and large fleets, inputs/services which have also seen price increases.
The demand for solutions developed by the company has been growing – only through the company’s website, inquiries for this purpose skyrocketed by 150% in 2020. The search for the term “fleet management” on Google also rose by 90% in the last two years. Good management results in efficiency; after all, thinking about a fleet means planning and controlling processes based on accurate information. This way, no one wastes time, opportunities, and money.
