BMS Program Promotes Participation of Seven Brazilian Companies at the Italian Fair, the Second Most Important in Europe
EIMA 2022, which takes place from November 9 to 13, is the largest international exhibition of precision agriculture in Europe and the second most important for agricultural and gardening machinery. Annually, the fair receives entrepreneurs from over 60 countries in Bologna, Italy, covering an area of 375,000 m². Each edition features over 1,900 companies from 50 countries showcasing more than 50,000 models of machines and equipment for all types of agricultural operations.
This year, the Brazil Machinery Solutions (BMS) program, a partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments) and ABIMAQ (Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers), promotes the participation of seven Brazilian companies at the fair, which will display their main innovations and technologies. The focus of the initiative is to provide visibility for Brazilian agricultural machinery to European and Latin American countries that will be part of EIMA.
The event will feature the participation of Brazilian companies Colombo, Eirene, Guarany, MagnoJet, Nogueira, São José, and Vence Tudo, which will showcase their products in the Brazil Pavilion, sponsored by BMS.

Guarany, which has been exporting for over 40 years and has a production capacity of more than 15 million equipment per year, aims to consolidate its brand and showcase its complete line of solutions during the fair. “For EIMA, we seek networking potential with new players in the global market in order to increase our penetration across all five continents, and we expect to increase the export share to 10% of the company’s annual revenue,” states Alida Bellandi, the company’s president.
Among the products the company will present this year is the MGA – Mini Cold Aerosol Generator. The equipment is specially developed for urban pest control, including mosquitoes that transmit diseases and epidemic vectors. Portable, it can be mounted on small pickup truck beds for urban and rural spraying. Additionally, it can be used in locations such as industries, condominiums, parks, public buildings, and sewers, and in hard-to-reach areas like material depots, landfills, among others.
The company Eirene, in turn, will present SAVEFARM, a selective spraying system using artificial intelligence and cameras, which identifies the type, size, and shape of plants, spraying only where necessary. “This is a global innovation, being one of the only spraying systems in the world to commercially use cameras, being sold on a large scale in Brazil,” emphasizes Eduardo Marckmann, the company’s CEO.
MagnoJet seeks to enter the European market with its participation in EIMA. The company is also looking for distributors in various European countries and manufacturers of machines (sprayers) on the continent. Among the technologies demonstrated at the fair is the MUG (Magno Ultra Grossa) spray nozzle, whose technology reduces 1% of derivable droplets, making it the safest tip for applying hormonal herbicides.
São José brings its line of scarifiers, which ensure high efficiency in soil decompaction. As explained by Marketing Coordinator Daniel Ribeiro, the current major issue for rural producers is soil compaction caused by large machinery, which hinders proper root development, directly impacting production. “This equipment provides the solution for this problem by working directly to break the compacted layer, helping in root development and consequently ensuring higher productivity,” he concludes.
Vence Tudo aims for networking, benchmarking, and business meetings with importers who will be present at the fair. According to external sales representative Luiz Henrique Thielke, the company seeks to initiate an entry into Asia and Eastern Europe. “We intend to enter these markets through the international visibility that EIMA provides to our brand, prospecting potential clients,” he affirms. The company will present promotional materials for its line of no-till seeders and platforms for corn harvesting at the fair.
