Rumors Indicate That the Vivo X300 Will Arrive With a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL Main Sensor, 50 MP Periscope, and Advances in Image Stabilization. Launch Is Expected in October 2025.

The Vivo is preparing to unveil its new line of flagships, and expectations for the Vivo X300 are growing.

According to information released by Chinese leakers, the next generation promises to elevate the photography capabilities with high-resolution sensors, stabilization improvements, and a new design aimed at mobile photography enthusiasts.

Rumors suggest that the series will launch in October of this year, including the Vivo X300, Vivo X300 Pro Mini, and Vivo X300 Pro, while the much-anticipated Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to be released only in the second quarter of 2026.

Vivo X300: 200 MP Main Camera Promises to Redefine Image Quality

The standout feature of the Vivo X300 is its cameras.

Information shared by the profile @nakajimegame on X (formerly Twitter) indicates that the standard version will be equipped with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL main sensor, possibly the HBP model.

This sensor has a size of 1/1.4 inches, which represents a significant advancement over the 50 MP Sony IMX921 present in the Vivo X200.

With this upgrade, the expectation is that the new smartphone will deliver images with more detail, greater dynamic range, and optimized performance in low-light conditions.

Additionally, the ISOCELL HBP is very similar to the ISOCELL HP9, used as a periscope lens in the Vivo X200 Pro.

The Chinese manufacturer may have made strategic adjustments to this lens to transform it into the main camera in the new model.

50 MP Telephoto and Enhanced Stabilization

The camera setup of the Vivo X300 doesn’t stop there.

Rumors indicate the inclusion of a 50 MP telephoto sensor with 1/1.95 inches, possibly the Sony IMX882/LYT600, used in the previous generation.

This component is expected to offer 3x optical zoom with high clarity and less distortion.

Another anticipated novelty is a new optical stabilization system using a prism, designed to enhance focus and reduce blurriness in photos and videos.

This technology represents a significant leap for those seeking stability in captures, especially in low-light environments or during moving recordings.

Partnership With Zeiss Is Expected to Continue

One aspect expected to remain in the X300 line is the partnership with Zeiss, responsible for calibrating and optimizing the lenses of Vivo’s premium smartphones.

This collaboration ensures more accurate color adjustments and differentiated capture modes, such as the characteristic bokeh effect developed together by the brands.

Complete Line of Models and Next-Generation Processors

Vivo is preparing not just one smartphone, but a complete family.

In addition to the X300, the X300 Pro Mini is slated to be a more compact version with advanced specifications, and the X300 Pro is expected to bring additional improvements in camera and performance.

Models of the X line may provide clues about what to expect from the X300.

The most robust model, Vivo X300 Ultra, will be launched only in 2026 and is expected to be the only one in the line equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.

The other versions are expected to arrive with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500, a processor not yet officially announced but promising to offer energy efficiency and top-tier performance.

Compact Design and Smaller Screen Than the Previous Generation

Another point that draws attention is the size of the display.

Unlike the trend of increasingly larger screens, the Vivo X300 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch panel, making it one of the smallest flagships released by Vivo in recent years.

For comparison, the Vivo X200 had a 6.67-inch display. This change may appeal to those seeking a more compact and ergonomic premium smartphone.

The new main sensor is also expected to enable 8K recording at 30 fps and 4K at 120 fps, expanding possibilities for those using the smartphone for content creation.

The Tetrapixel feature, present in the ISOCELL HBP, is also expected to make an appearance. This technology dynamically adjusts the pixel size to optimize capture in different lighting conditions.
