Discover The Changes That Make The Honda Model Even More Sophisticated And Attractive With An Impressive Engine

Honda surprised the Asian market with the launch of the New City hatchback, which now features hybrid engine technology capable of achieving an incredible 27 km/l with gasoline. Although it is not the model sold in Brazil, this novelty opens doors for the possibility of the vehicle landing here in the near future, according to the website Garagem 360.

The New Honda City received a facelift that brought significant changes to its aesthetics and engine. The grille and bumper have been upgraded, with elements reminiscent of the RS version. The front air intake has been enlarged and now features a honeycomb grille, further highlighting the Honda logo in the center. At the rear, a new bumper with a modern design and black plastic details gives the vehicle a refreshed look.

Tech-Savvy And Comfortable Interior Of The New Honda City

Inside, the standout feature is the 4.2-inch TFT screen of the onboard computer, with a renewed design. In addition, Honda added a series of comfort and technology items, such as automatic headlights, automatic door locking when moving away, remote engine start, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.

The main highlight and technology of the New Honda City is its hybrid powertrain with e:HEV system, which combines a 1.5 i-VTEC combustion engine with 98 hp and 12.8 kgfm of torque to an electric motor. Together, they deliver 109 hp of power and 25.5 kgfm of torque, providing impressive energy efficiency.

Arrival In Brazil And Expectations

Although the forecast is that the facelift will reach Brazil only in 2025, the New City and its technology are already being sold in Asia in the LX, EX, EXL, and Touring versions. The expectation is that, with the technological innovations presented, the model will capture even more of the Brazilian market, offering not just efficiency but also technology and comfort to its future owners.
