School Offers Opportunity for Integrated and Subsequent High School Courses with Quotas for Residents in Rural Areas
The Cajueiro Agricultural School (EAC), affiliated with the State University of Paraíba (UEPB), opened registration for the technical courses in Agriculture for 2025. Located at UEPB’s Campus IV in Catolé do Rocha, EAC offers 160 spots. Of these, 50% are reserved for residents of rural areas. This measure reinforces the school’s commitment to inclusion and training of youth from the countryside, according to the UEPB website.
Modalities and Available Spots in the School’s Courses
The technical courses in Agriculture at EAC are offered in two modalities, each with 80 spots. The Integrated High School course combines technical training with regular high school education. Thus, students complete this school phase with a technical qualification. On the other hand, the Subsequent course is for those who have already finished high school and are seeking professional qualification. Therefore, these courses prepare students for a job market that is growing in Brazil.
Moreover, the reservation of 50% of spots for residents of rural areas demonstrates EAC’s commitment to local development. This way, the school provides accessible and qualified training for youth from these communities. This inclusive policy strengthens the agricultural sector and opens up new opportunities for young people from rural areas.
