Quota and Inclusion Policy
Regarding quotas, the IFS follows the rules set forth in the legislation to promote educational inclusion. At least 50% of the places are reserved for students who completed their entire high school education in public schools. Within this reserve, there are specific subdivisions for candidates who self-declare as Black, Mixed Race and Indigenous (PPI) and for People with Disabilities (PcD), respecting the proportions defined by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
5% of the vacancies for general competition will be reserved for People with Disabilities (PwD), regardless of their educational background. This policy reinforces IFS's commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities.
Registration for free courses
Registration will be open between January 3rd and 31st and must be completed on the official website (Click here). On February 3, the list of registered candidates, the seed for the draw for subsequent technical courses and the validation of applications for higher education courses will be released. The electronic draw will take place on February 10, with the publication of the preliminary undergraduate results on February 18 and the final result on February 21.
