The Platform Is Set to Launch in October by Techint in Pontal do Paraná to Operate in the Búzios Field.
The activities to integrate the systems of the P-76 platform at Techint’s offshore base in Pontal do Paraná are about to be completed, specifically in October. The next phase of testing is currently focused on finishing the electrical installations. This unit has been leased by Petrobras and will produce in the Búzios Field, which is located in the pre-salt layer of the Santos Basin. Ricardo Ourique, who is the Chief Director of Techint, states that over 5,000 employees are serving the company in this venture.
Luis Guilherme, responsible for the company’s commercial direction, emphasizes that the local content margin is around 71%. It’s worth noting that 15 of these processing modules were made at UOT (where Techint is located) out of a total of 20 being built. Adding all the modules installed on the P-76, the weight totals an impressive 24,000 tons and can produce up to 150,000 barrels of oil daily with a processing capacity of 7 million cubic meters of gas.
