About the Offshore Poles
The Polo Golfinho is located in water depths between 1,300 m and 2,200 m, encompassing the Golfinho field, an oil producer, and the Canapu field, a non-associated gas producer, as well as the exploratory block BM-ES-23. The average total production of the fields between 2018 and 2019 was 15 thousand bpd of oil and 750 thousand m³/day of gas.
The Polo Camarupim is located in water depths between 100 m and 1,050 m, encompassing the unitized fields of Camarupim and Camarupim Norte, both non-associated gas producers.
Petrobras holds a 100% stake in the concessions of the Poles Golfinho and Camarupim(*), except for the exploratory block BM-ES-23, where it has a majority stake of 65%, in partnership with PTTEP (20%) and Inpex (15%). Petrobras is the operator of all concessions.
Bids can be made per Pole, separately, or in a single bid for both Poles.
(*) The process for Petrobras to acquire Ouro Preto’s stake in the Camarupim Norte field was initiated in August 2018 and is expected to be completed in the 1st quarter of 2020.
