Petrobras has started to release the teaser related to the sale of its entire stake in seven onshore production concessions in the Solimões Basin, in the State of Amazonas.

According to the company, the teaser, which contains key information about the concessions, as well as the eligibility criteria for potential participants, is available on its website. The seven production concessions, collectively called Polo Urucu, are located in the municipalities of Tefé and Coari, covering an area of approximately 350 square kilometers.

In the first three months of this year, the average production of the cluster was 106,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), comprising 16,500 barrels per day (bpd) of oil and condensate, 14.3 million cubic meters of gas per day, and 1,130 tons per day of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
According to Valor, in addition to the concessions and their production facilities, the transaction also includes the units processing oil and natural gas production and logistical support facilities for production.
The sale processes of Petrobras’ refineries have advanced. They have now entered the stage of receiving binding offers. The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) reported last week that it will continuously monitor the impact of “new circumstances” in the market.
Regarding the breaking of the sector’s monopoly, the regulatory agency argued that the infrastructure related to the refinery should be operated by a company different from the new refiner, even if the two companies belong to the same economic group.
