The Brazilian oil company Petrobras announced on the afternoon of this day (12/22) in a relevant report that it confirmed the presence of high-quality oil with the drilling of well 9-BUZ-48D-RJS, located in the far northwest of the Búzios field in the Santos Basin. According to the report, the well is located 188 km from the city of Rio de Janeiro and was drilled at a water depth of 1,850 meters. Tests conducted at a depth of 5,540 meters confirmed the presence of high-quality oil reservoirs.
