Petrobras Has Been Supporting Olympic Sports for Over 10 Years, Having Already Supported 44 Athletes Who Won 91 Medals in Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American, and Parapan American Games
Seeking to develop new athletes and launch sports talents in Brazil, Petrobras announces a new edition of the project, composed of 45 athletes in search of their first medal in the Olympic and Paralympic Games, a journey that will be sponsored by the company. The names of the athletes who will join the Petrobras Team will be announced by the company throughout the year.
“With the signing of these contracts, we continue to support Olympic and Paralympic sports, now focusing on new athletes who will represent Brazil in Paris 2024. Our premise is to enhance the development of skills and overcoming challenges through support for sports,” highlights Petrobras’ Executive Manager of Communication and Brands, Fernanda Bianchini.
The State Company Team Will Include Olympic and Paralympic Sports.
The selection criteria for the team value athletes who have already stood out in relevant competitions in their sport, such as national and international championships, whether or not they have previously participated in the Olympic or Paralympic Games, as well as looking towards modalities that have greater difficulty in securing resources. The Petrobras Team, as has been done, will include Olympic and Paralympic sports.
