Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program
The Petrobras Autonomy and Income program is an initiative that brings together Petrobras and federal institutes to offer places in vocational training courses, including FIC qualifications and technical courses.
The objective described in the notice is to contribute to the autonomy and income generation of people in situations of social vulnerability and marginalized groups, through free training.
The vacancies are primarily directed to individuals without formal employment or of low income.
The program prioritizes women, transgender individuals, indigenous people, quilombolas, refugees and immigrants with authorized residence, people with disabilities, and black and brown candidates, as well as residents of the area covered by Petrobras operations.
General Services Assistant Course at IFMG Santa Luzia
In Santa Luzia, the notice opens a specific selection for the Professional Qualification course of General Services Assistant, with in-person classes.
The activities take place in the evening, from Monday to Friday, with classes or complementary activities on Saturdays.
The course lasts four months and has a total workload of 174 hours.
The course will be offered at the IFMG campus in Santa Luzia.
Scholarship Value and Payment Criteria
The notice defines student assistance as financial support to ensure the student’s continuation in the course.
The monthly scholarship amount is R$ 660, paid throughout the training period.
For women with children up to 12 years old, the amount increases to R$ 858 monthly, upon verification at the time of enrollment.
To receive the full amount, the student must maintain a minimum attendance of 75% in classes each month.
Students with attendance between 60% and 74% can receive 50% of the scholarship amount, according to specific rules of the program.
Students with attendance below 60% are not entitled to receive assistance.
Who Can Participate in the Selection Process
Individuals aged 18 or older who have completed at least Elementary Education I, from the 1st to the 5th grade, may apply.
Another requirement is to reside in municipalities considered to be part of the area covered by Petrobras operations linked to the Gabriel Passos Refinery in Minas Gerais.
The notice lists the prioritized municipalities as Betim, Ibirité, Sarzedo, and Santa Luzia.
For selection purposes, a family income per capita of up to half a minimum wage is considered low income.
Proof of this condition is mandatory at the time of enrollment, according to the model defined in the notice.
Reservation of Vacancies and Affirmative Actions
The selection process includes the distribution of vacancies by groups and affirmative actions.
