PHB, Known for Its Inverters, Developed a New Energy Controller. The Product Has the Capacity to Control the Performance of Solar Power Plants with 60 Inverters and 3.3 MWca of Power
This Monday (17), PHB Solar launched the SEC1000, an intelligent energy controller that, when combined with solar inverters, has the ability to capture and analyze data in real-time. With a control panel and a three-phase meter, the SEC1000 can be connected to the monitoring portal to control and manage the performance of inverters in plants with 60 inverters and a capacity of up to 3.3 MWca.

The energy controller can also automatically adjust the active power and other parameters of solar power plants, distributing and allocating system resources more effectively.
PHB’s product primarily targets customers in the Free Contracting Environment (ACL), the Free Market for solar photovoltaic energy, who plan to become self-generators of energy. With the new intelligent energy controller, there is the possibility to monitor the generation curve along with the load curve, a unique functionality of PHB’s product.

PHB Launches Other Meters Targeted at Solar Plants
The other two previous launches by PHB Solar were the CT-90 and PHB120T meters, which also operate with the manufacturer’s inverters and allow the power injected into the grid to be limited. The PHB120T energy controller is aimed at three-phase systems of up to 60 kWca, while the CT-90 is targeted at single-phase systems of up to 8.5 kWca.
The meters focus on customers who plan to acquire a solar energy system and are limited by the energy entry standard, both to avoid measurement adjustment costs or to reduce project time. The energy controllers allow configuring the capacity of the solar energy system to generate electricity to supply loads, exporting a specified value to the utility.
If at any moment the load is low and production is high, the inverter limits the power so that a predetermined current is not exceeded. It is worth noting that all three products are already available on the PHB sales platform.
Know PHB Solar
PHB is a company that has been in the market for over 35 years, always seeking quality and innovation, with seriousness and national technological advancement. Thus, the company was the first manufacturer of solar energy inverters to be certified by INMETRO in the country, working in the coordination and development of regulatory standards.
Always ahead, PHB is a 100% Brazilian industry with technological competence and pioneering, developing products for Distributed Generation as a whole. PHB’s engineering offers agile responses and does not require international consultation, being a pioneer in the solar energy sector.
