Beyond Institutional Partnership, Mayor of Macaé Requests Equinor to Install an Operational Base in the City to Expand Business with the Local Market, Benefiting the Hotel, Retail, and Services Chain
Good news for Macaé! Welberth Rezende just announced on his social media that he has received, just now, in his office, Thiago Penna, the director of the BM-C-33 project from Equinor, accompanied by the manager of institutional relations, Tiago Martins, and the sustainability lead Ana Cupolo.
The municipal secretary of Economic Development, Rodrigo Viana, and the environmental secretary, Juninho Luna, were also present at the meeting.
Company’s Operations in Brazil
The Norwegian multinational, which operates in 30 countries and has over 20,000 employees, specializes in energy and is present in the Campos Basin, where it conducts operations in the Peregrino field, in addition to a 25% stake in the Roncador field, being the operator of the BM-C-33 block.
